Wedding of Natalie and Micheal

Well, this was going to be a tiring weekend for me!!!! 2 weddings in 2 days, and both a long way away! but i’m now sat here with a cup of tea, and im glad i did them, Its  a looong drive to surrey from Nottinghamshire!…. lovely place, and it was nice to finally meet Michaeal, (Natalie had been to visit me previously.) She looked stunning on the day, neither of them wanted to much fuss, i think guests can take over sometimes taking pictures! But once the guests had gone we took a few at the church and then in Micheals grandfathers garden ( hello Don) and it gave them time to relax. thanks guys have a great honeymoon and speak soon….

Yvonne & Kevins wedding day

Well the second wedding of the weekend, i went to Essex, It was really bad weather driving down there, and got to the venue and they must have ordered sun for the day, because it was hotttt!

Yvonne and Kevin seem like a real genuine couple, all there friends and family were right behind them, and there was just enough people there to keep it personal still. As always it was nice to have a bit of banter with the guests and i had a good laugh. thanks to both of you and to your friends and families. speak soon!

Damon & Leah’s Wedding

I met Damon and Leah about a year ago, after they were recommended by Tim and Beth ( congrats on the baby guys!) whose wedding i did in 06, …….It was nice to do another local wedding!
I’d Hoped the weather was to be better, but it was rainy all day!!! But me being  me, thought it would be good to jump outside in between showers, i think it worked out ok as no-one wants all there shots in the church!

These were photographed in and around church warsop grounds, and at leahs home. 

Graham and Caren’s Wedding 14th june 2008

Well unlike lots of couples where i dont get to meet before the day, i’d met Graham and Karen before about a year ago, I really liked them, some people you meet you dont always click with but i felt very comfortable with Graham and Karen, so thanks guys!

Venue was Cressbrook hall, lovely little venue near Buxton Derbys, the lady who own/runs the house could do with some lessons in manners though! very frosty!

Karen & Tony’s Wedding

Well it started a little showery, but it kept off for most of the day, Karen and her family were lovely and made me feel welcome, Orton hall was a lovely venue, and as always had fun with the guests!

Anthony and Jo’s Wedding Day

Well this was a great day for a great couple, I met Jo and Ant last year while photographing Sarah and Gavins Wedding, where Jo was a bridesmaid, and we got on and i was really pleased to be their photographer!

Jo’s Mom and Dad made me feel very welcome and i felt like part of the family! It was nice to see Sarah and Gav again along with their new arrival baby Elizabeth!
Jo and Ants wedding was in Eggington Derbys, and the reception at Swinfen Hall Warwicks

Kate and Jamie’s Wedding!

Mansfield, Nottinghamshire

Im in the very fortunate position of photographing and meeting some lovely couples, and their families
last week i was honoured to have done my sister in laws wedding Kate and Jamie my new brother in law, and one of the nicest fellas you could meet!

Also to make it more special, my 2 sons were pageboys!!! And they were as good as gold! (phew!)

I think if any wedding photographer is honest they can feel a bit nervous before any wedding, and even though she’s family, youve got to do a great job still! I did it as a freebie for a present, (honest) and then they presented me with a lovely watch as a thankyou! I wasnt expecting anything other than a thanks, so …..thanks!!!

Karen and Johns Wedding!

John and karen’s Wedding in Windsor!

Well the day before my sister in laws wedding, was a great couple called Karen and John, whos wedding was in Winsor at the guildhall ( where Prince Charles and Camilla gor married no less!) they met on the internet 9 months previous, John from Denver Colorado was a fun guy who obviously loved his new bride very much! the theme i think was a rollercoaster of fun and reflection they had 6 different locations on hired london buses! from the beautiful Savill Gardens to an Austin Powers themed night club ( in the afternoon!) it was great fun, as i’d not been too well, i took one of by best friends and someone who’s taught me a lot over the years Paul, He was a great help and seemed to enjoy himself too much!

Well the 2 final locations were a boat trip on the southern comfort for all the guests where they let off about 100 ballons, finally arriving at the reception where the band were playing as they welcomed us ashore ( they’d be flown over from colorado too!)

Well after a long day we bid our goodbyes and drove back, ready to start my sister in laws the next day!
