Jay & Paul are friends of Amanda & Spence, and are such a great couple, this was quite a different wedding, it was split in the morning was the hindu wedding and then afternoon was a civil ceremony, the location was great, some lovely secluded spots as well as large areas, it was a privatley owned house too, and the lady was lovely. Paul & Jays families were very welcoming, and we had a good laugh, it was nice to chat to Amanda and Spence again too.

Good luck guys speak soon!

David & Victoria

August 16, 2008 by bridgehouseweddings

Well a year or so ago, i photographed a couple called Steve and Emma in london barracks, next to Buckingham palace, ( Im photographing His brothers wedding soon too) well one of his friends Dave was getting married and i got the job!, It was a great weather day, but the navigating round that London was haaaard! there was just no-where to park, and if your not from that neck of the woods its even harder!!!

Well, i ditched the car and met victoria and her family, she was a great gal, and i felt at ease straight away,
Found the car and went to the barracks again, not fun theres people with guns, and im nervous!!!

Well after a calamity trying to get through the gates, i was in, now its a hard venue to photograph, as its a bit built up area, and no grass, but i just find what i can use and get on with it, It was nice to see Dave again, and Steve and Emma, and i regonised some familier faces too. They looked real happy together too.

A really genuine couple!
Eventually we moved on to the reception smack in the centre of London again!!! argghh! everyone was very helpful on the parking side tho, im a little greyer mind…..

Aimee & Paul

August 15, 2008 by bridgehouseweddings

Well now, it was a meggga bright sunny day for Aimee and Paul, and its hard to take photos!!!! I know i shouldnt moan, but it can be a challenge if you dont want squinty pix! THe wedding was in cambridgeshire
and Aimee and family were really sweet, and we got on really well. Met Paul and his boys, really helpful fellas!

During the ceremony, Paul was really emotional, it was nice to see a man, show his feelings to be fair,
they had a little son, who was keen to get in on the action!!!

Ive had an email since from Aimee saying shes really happy with the pix., Always nice to hear!! thanks!!

Take care!

Amanda & Spence

August 8, 2008 by bridgehouseweddings

This was a very different wedding! Both Amanda and Spence are both pilots! So the theme was Aviation…
They were intending on flying to the reception in separate planes, but the weather forecast looked a little iffy, So they travelled in even more style in a reliant robin, like del boys!

They had a Mariachi band playing and had a Marquee next to a small hanger with a couple of planes in,
Amanda looked stunning and i think she was hankering after a go in the planes, Spence did fly round a bit

The lady whose grounds it was started flying in her tiger moth, like i say, i dont think i’ll be doing another wedding like this for a while! I have Amanda’s friend Jays wedding this week, that looks like it will be different for me too, Jay and Paul were there amused by my trying to be discreet (but failing) technique!

Take care guys, your clear for landing….

Taira & Chris’s Wedding

July 27, 2008 by bridgehouseweddings
Well now! today was a bit of a special day, my very special friend Stacey’s sister was getting married!
Stacey is possibly one of the nicest gals you could meet! ( next to the wife of course!) and we go way back, so it was lovely to see her again
Well i’d never met Taira before, but she was lovely, she was a little late bless her for the ceremony, so we didnt get a lot of chance to speak! Chris was great, along with his “boys” made me feel very comfortable,
like ive said before some people treat you like a photographer, but it was nice to be treated like a friend, so thanks!……It was quite a hard wedding for me in some respects, as Neither wanted any formal photos or groups, which while i havent any organising to do, its challenging!
Both Chris’s and Taira’s mom and dad were very friendly, and staceys fella john made sure i knew where places were, and made sure i was ok through the day,
Stacey other sis Heathers little girl was sweet, but kept running off from me, but with Mikes help ( thanks mate!) we got the shot at the end!
thanks again guys and speak soon! x
(Stacey is 3rd photo down)

Donna & Craigs Wedding Day

July 12, 2008 by bridgehouseweddings

I met Donna and Craig, after Jos my friend Pauls girlfriend recommended me to them, I spent probably 5 hours at there house ( sorry) just talking and having fun with them,

Donna’s a real fun girl, and also holds the record of the number of emails to me from 1 person!!!!! ;)
Well that was a bout a year or so ago, and now the big day had come!!!!

Weather was a bit patchy but they both looked so happy, and Donna dress was something else!!! ( i think it cost enough too!) Started at Donna’s folks house (who looked after me great!) then to castle donington church then to Risley hall, I think we did well for the weather, although i had hitlers wife putting pressure on me to hurry up!!! But things all worked out well, Craig and Donna , thanks for being a lovely couple!
