Hellloooo my names Martin Hopkins, and this is a little about me…

Ive been interested in photography most of my life, I love black and white, I can stare at old photos in frankie and bennys for ages, Its true a photo can say 1000 words sometimes more, The other thing is that the photos will out last us, we still look at photos of our grandparents or people who are no longer around.

I think the other thing i love is that a photo is a record of an event, be it a graduation, wedding, or just a party with friends, and can stir those emotions what you felt on the day 10 years or more down the line.

I started specialising in wedding photography a few years ago, after doing them on and off for friends/family 13 years or more ago, I think you have to be a people person first and foremost, then you obviously need the skill of being a photographer, but ive seen good photographers crumble at weddings…..

I love the relaxed style photos almost like your unaware of me there, It makes the couple more relaxed and they look less victorian!

After getting married to the right person, second time round, ( im sure the first was swapped before i married her) Tracey helps with the organising of the business, ( as men tend not to be!) and this has been a real help, she also deals with customers and is better than me at is!
